With her farewell tour a thing of the past, Cyndi Lauper just announced her first-ever Las Vegas residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace come April and May of 2026.
Taking to social media, the iconic singer/songwriter confirmed Cyndi Lauper: Live In Las Vegas, with “Vegas will become ‘Cyn City’ next spring, when I bring my Girls Just Wanna Have Fun show to town for this special run, an opportunity for fans who missed my Farewell Tour to celebrate one last time.”
The now 72-year old musician wrapped up her nearly year-long Girls Just Wanna Have Fun Farewell Tour with a two-night, August 29/30 stand at the Hollywood Bowl, where her CBS special, A Grammy Salute to Cyndi Lauper: Live from the Hollywood Bowl was taped. And, the world premiere of Cyndi’s stage musical adaptation of 1988’s Working Girl is set to run from October 28 in San Diego.
Along with Bad Company, Chubby Checker, Joe Cocker, Outkast, Soundgarden and The White Stripes, on November 8 Cyndi Lauper will be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame at the Peacock Theatre in Los Angeles.
A pre-sale for Lauper’s five-show Vegas run begins Wednesday (10.08,) with general ticket sales starting on October 10.
