On Friday (7.12,) during the band’s concert in Rome, Italy, Coldplay previewed their brand new song ‘Good Feelings.’
Presumably from their upcoming album Moon Music, the band’s front man, Chris Martin sings “We fell in love in the summer/I remember baby, we felt the sun shine through/And we were born for each other.” “All the good feelings, for one another/As we danced to the radio.”
Originally in the running for Coldplay’s prior LP Music of the Spheres, the Max Martin-produced track was initially rumored to feature a cameo appearance by the Chainsmokers, who the UK band first collaborated with on the 2017 single “Something Just Like This.” However, the new version will probably be included in Moon Music and will feature emerging Nigerian singer Ayra Starr.
Coldplay officially dropped their first single “Feelslikeimfallinginlove” from Moon Music, while ‘All My Love.’ another new title they’ve performed live could be included in the group’s forthcoming 10th studio LP, scheduled for an October 4 release.
When the Martin-fronted band first announced Moon Music, they said the collection would be available on a variety of formats that meet “new sustainability standards,” including the LP pressed on vinyl produced from nine recycled plastic bottles and the CD manufactured made form 90 percent recycled polycarbonate. The band said its efforts would reduce CO2 emissions in production by at least 78 percent and avoid the use of more than five metric tonnes of virgin plastic.
