After concert cameras caught Astronomer CEO Andy Byron allegedly cheating on his wife, in a recently shared clip via X, Chris Martin said “I hope we didn’t do something bad.”
On Thursday, (7.17,) the businessman and his HR chief Kristin Cabot made headlines after a video of them being caught on the Coldplay kiss cam went viral. As the the band’s frontman moved the kiss cam around the arena, the clandestine couple were seen with their hands wrapped around each other.
After Martin said “Look at these two,” the pair appeared aghast as Cabot immediately turned around and Byron ducked out of view. “Either they’re having an affair or they’re just very shy,” added Martin which elicited a chorus of cheers and gasps from the audience.
Shortly after the incident went viral, Byron’s wife, Megan Kerrigan Byron, deleted her social media page.
According to his since-deleted LinkedIn account, Andy was appointed CEO for the New York-based data engineering business in July 2023, and Cabot joined the company as its chief human resources officer in November 2024. A post announcing her role has since been deleted from her LinkedIn page.
