From the ‘Bruised’ soundtrack, Cardi B just released her new track, ‘Bet It’.
Per usual, the world famous rapper demonstrates impeccable flow on the thumping track from Halle Berry’s directional debut, a sports drama film where she also plays a disgraced MMA fighter who decides to return for an unsanctioned bout.
Admitting that she “loved” teaming up with the former Bond girl, 55, on the project, the 29-year-old hip-hop superstar gushed at the opportunity to work on the soundtrack that also includes contributions from H.E.R., Saweetie, and City Girls.
Captioning a clip of the track, Cardi took to Instagram with: “The Bruised Soundtrack is finally hereee! I loved working on this with @halleberry and all of the amazing artists that contributed to the soundtrack, we really making history with this one @saweetie @latto777 @citygirls @thegirljt @yungmiami305 @hermusicofficial @youngma @imbabytate @flomillishit @rapsody @realericabanks @bigbottlewyanna @ambre @dreamdoll (sic)”
The mother-of-two worked as a stripper before becoming one of the world’s best-selling musicians, Cardi (born Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar) confessed last month that she’s particularly hard to impress, given what she’s already achieved in her life and career, explaining on Twitter: “Nothing impresses me. I’ve done it all,” and previously mentioned that motherhood has given her more motivation than ever.
Married to Migos star Offset since 2017 – Cardi said that she’s determined to give her children the best possible chance of success: “All the time I’m thinking about my kid. I’m shaking my a**, but at the same time I’m doing business, I’m on the phone with my business manager saying, make sure that a percentage of my cheque goes to my kid’s trust.” “I give my daughter so much love, and I’m setting her up for a future. I want to tell her that a lot of the s*** that I have done in life – no matter what I did, knowing that I wanted to have kids made me go harder to secure a good future for my kids.”
