Barry Manilow Concert Cut Short

After cutting short his Friday night (10.09) show, Barry Manilow has since cancelled his latest performance in Las Vegas, just two days after the superstar singer’s much-anticipated return to the Vegas residency on Thursday (10.08) following a six-week hiatus.

In an interview with Variety, Manilow’s representative said that the legendary singer/songwriter’s been receiving treatment for the lung cancer he addressed in December of 2025, stating:

“After a triumphant welcome-back concert on Thursday, Barry got hit with bronchitis and had to cancel his Friday and Saturday show.”

Just one night before he took the stage with “I’m back!” on Friday, the now 83-year old musician ended the show after just a few songs, quipping to the audience, “Talk amongst yourselves,” before exiting.

While the Vegas residency was initially slated to begin in February, the star date was repeatedly postponed as the singer battled cancer, and previous bouts of bronchitis.

In May, the Brooklyn-born New Yorker took to social media with:

“Good news! I went to the doctor yesterday, and he said I’m making great progress and look great! Well, of course I do! Thank you very much! All the training and exercising I’ve put in is paying off. He did say, however, that I’m not quite ready for Vegas. That means I won’t be able to return for our May shows.”

As of press time, Barry Manilow has yet to comment on the latest cancellations.
