a benefit concert to support the communities affected by the Los Angeles wildfires, Hollywood’s own Irving Azoff and his wife Shelli Azoff have announced FireAid, an evening of music and solidarity that will take place on January 30 at Intuit Dome, the newly opened downtown Los Angeles venue.
In association with Live Nation and AEG Present, with performers and ticket information to be announced soon, the concert will be dedicated to rebuilding communities devastated by the fires and supporting efforts to prevent future disasters throughout Southern California. Proceeds from the show will go towards rebuilding infrastructure, supporting displaced families and advancing fire prevention technologies and strategies to ensure LA is better prepared for fire emergencies.
Because the Intuit Dome concert is scheduled three days prior to the Grammy Awards, one would expect an A-list lineup of performers to participate in FireAid.
The philanthropic announcement comes amidst the ongoing Los Angeles fires that have displaced thousands of people from the Pacific Palisades, Malibu, Altadena, Pasadena and more areas of the city as entire communities have been destroyed.
