Posting a rehearsal video performance of a song from Burlesque, Christina Aguilera teased her upcoming Las Vegas residency.
Taking to social media, the post follows the singer as she practices “Guy What Takes Him Time,” the Linda Perry-written song from the 2010 film soundtrack that Aguilera has never played live.
Along with the visual, the superstar singer captioned information about her Vegas residency at the Venetian’s Voltaire venue that starts on December 30, with ten date (including a New Year’s Eve gig) thru March 2.
In a statement about her upcoming Nevada shows, Xtina said “I look forward to bringing Las Vegas a new show that fuses music, sophistication and art in ways I have never performed before.” “What I love about the intimacy at Voltaire at The Venetian Resort is how up-close-and-personal I can be with the audience… a truly modern twist on the performance experience.”
Following her prior 10-month run (from May 2019 thru March 2020 at the Zappos Theater,) the Voltaire stint marks Aguilera’s second Vegas residency.
