Performing to a completely sold-out arena show at the United Center in Chicago, on Wednesday (5.27,) A$AP Rocky launched his “Don’t Be Dumb World Tour.”
The first official stop of a massive 43-date global concert itinerary, the international hip-hop artist, fashion icon, and entrepreneur debuted brand-new material alongside some of the biggest fan-favorite hits to a completely sold-out show.
Balanced his legacy tracks with upcoming studio cuts, the 35-year old artist treated the energetic Mod West audience to lively versions of “Fashion Killa,” “Praise The Lord (Da Shine),” and “Sundress,’ as well as new tracks from his highly anticipated forthcoming studio LP, DON’T BE DUMB, and live versions of “PUNK ROCKY,” “HELICOPTER,” and “STOLE YA FLOW.”
Featuring a massive immersive staging concept design, the superstar singer (born Jacques Berman Webster II) started the show by emerging from a signature tour helicopter prop stationed inside the venue, and traveled moved into the upper deck section to perform alongside fans, transforming the stadium into an intimate, interactive experience.
Continuing his North American tour through the spring and summer months – with stops in Cleveland, Toronto, Boston, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Miami, and Houston before wrapping the domestic leg of the trek on July 11 at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey – the international leg of shows will start in Europe and the United Kingdom on August 25 at the ING Arena in Brussels, Belgium, before heading to the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam and London’s O2 Arena, with subsequent gigs in Dublin, Glasgow, Manchester, Milan, and Stockholm.
Travis Scott’s global tour will officially wrap up on September 30 at the Accor Arena in Paris, France, and general ticket sales for all international dates are currently live.
