During an unannounced performance, on Tuesday night (11.21,) Ed Sheeran surprised fans at the 50 Cent concert in London.
While the superstar rapper (born Curtis Jackson) was performing at London’s O2 Arena during The Final Lap tour, the British singer-songwriter appeared on stage.
After a digital screen bearing the message “There is a monster in this box” was lifted from the stage, Sheeran appeared and performed his 2017 ‘Shape of You’ hit.
Taking to social media, 50 Cent shared pictures of him and Ed backstage at the arena on Instagram with the caption, “My man came through for me tonight, BOOM… LONDON went crazy! It don’t get bigger than this.” “@teddysphotos Had the o2 going crazy good times, I had a ball.”
Now 32, the British singer/songwriter documented his experience with videos on his Instagram Stories, joking “50 Cent has invited me to the O2 to sing Shape of You. I’m gonna walk on stage and go, ‘Who likes In Da Club? Here’s Shape of You.'” Before his appearance and enjoying the rest of the show with his friends from a private box in the auditorium afterwards, he also shared videos of him singing along to the rapper’s track ’21 Questions’ backstage.
Not the first time the two musicians aligned forces, Sheeran previously worked with 50 Cent and Eminem on ‘Remember the Name,’ which appeared on his 2019 LP, No.6 Collaborations Project.
