In addition to his Herculean ascension to the top of the charts – including collaborations with Justin Bieber, Miley Cyrus, Lil Durk and the late Juice WRLD – the Kid LAROI‘s latest alliance is with McDonald’s.
Unveiled just last week, the new partnership between the Australian-born singer/rapper and the fast food giant launches the McCrispy chicken burger throughout the chain’s Aussie outlets.
Not the first time the musician and the internationally known food brand have joined forces, in 2022 the Kid and McD’s teamed up for Australia’s first local “Famous Order” campaign and Laroi’s new nationwide campaign, includes “The Next Big Thing” TVCs along with behind-the-scenes social clips.
In a statement about the latest partnership, the artist (born Charlton Howard) said “I love a good chicken burger and am a huge Macca’s fan,” “so when I found out McDonald’s was launching its best chicken burger yet, I had to get involved.”
Though based in Los Angeles, the 20-year-old LAROI is one of Australia’s favorite homegrown artists.
As a teenager, LAROI led the Billboard 200 with F*ck Love, and ruled the Billboard Hot 100 with “Stay,” his global hit with Justin Bieber. The Sydney-raised talent also secured #1 singles and albums in his homeland, smashing records along the way.
