‘No Time To Die’ Is Highest Charting James Bond Soundtrack Ever: Listen

Multi-award-winning composer Hans Zimmer’s soundtrack to the 25th James Bond film, No Time To Die today peaks at #7 in UK Album Chart Top 10.

The highest-charting James Bond sound score to date, the full length also lands the #1 slot in the Official Classical Artists UK Album list.

Featuring music from guitarist Johnny Marr and Billie Eilish, whose title track No Time To Die was co-written by her brother Finneas O’Connell, topped the Official UK Singles Chart within its first week of 2020 release. And at 18 years of age at the time of release, Eilish becomes the youngest artist and the first female to take a Bond theme to the top of Britain’s Singles list with the biggest opening week for a Bond theme ever.

About this record-breaking news, Zimmer stated: “It’s incredible to think that we effectively launched this album at the Brits in 2019! It feels fantastic that the movie and its music are finally receiving such a rapturous and record-breaking reception. If you’re going to make chart history, you might as well do it with James Bond! I’m delighted.”

The involvement this time of Billie Eilish and Johnny Marr alongside Hans Zimmer has broadened the audience for this OST more than ever before. We have had to wait, but it was certainly well worth waiting for.”

The final Bond film to feature Daniel Craig as the lead, No Time To Die had its UK theatrical release on September 30 2021 and has smashed UK box office records with the highest grossing opening weekend of any James Bond film, beating Skyfall and Spectre, which now sit at #2 and #3 in the all-time English box office chart.
