On Sunday (8.30) in preparation of her forthcoming LP, Miley Cyrus took to social media and on her official website with a dramatic close-up photo of her eyes.
While the superstar singer/songwriter did not include a caption, her website included “MILEY” in bold text – causing fans to speculate that her first name will be the title of the project.
Having previously recorded with Columbia Records, it was in June that the singer-songwriter confirmed she had signed with Atlantic Records, and in an interview with Wonderland magazine, the Grammy award-winner discussed her new collection stating:
“This one was different. It was organic and really unforced. Something that was super helpful this time was I started with the track list and never veered from it.” “I knew it would be 10 songs. I roughly knew the sound and the concept. That gave me a really strong compass without making the process feel forced.”
It was just last week, that the 33-year songstress took to Instagram with an emotional tribute to her late godmother, Dolly Parton, who passed away on August 25 at the age of 8, adding:
“I will always love her and want to make her proud. My heart breaks for the world, her family and friends who will miss her deeply. We’re in this loss together, and we will see her in all of the most beautiful things.”
At press time, Miley nor her representatives have commented on the upcoming album.
