After falling ill during her performance in Moulin Rouge! The Musical, on Tuesday night (3.31) Megan Thee Stallion was rushed to hospital.
The superstar musician launched her eight-week run of the show at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre in New York City, where she portrayed the character of Harold Zidler. In a statement, producers announced that the actress was forced to pull out of the performance as she started to feel unwell.
“During Tuesday night’s production, Megan started feeling very ill and was promptly transported to a local hospital, where her symptoms are currently being evaluated.” “We will share additional updates as more information becomes available,” commented a spokesperson.

Following a seven-year run on Broadway, Moulin Rouge! The Musical will close on July 26.
