While on tour, Yungblud broke his leg in a motorcycle accident.
Stating that the injury will not keep him from performing, the British rocker took to Instagram with photos of his bandaged leg, set to the sounds of ‘I’m Still Standing’ by Elton John and the caption “Leg f**ked. Still giggin. Still standin (sort of).” “Portugal and Belgium I’m comin’, and it’s gonna be f**king mad. See you next week, Let’s ride.”
In an interview with Billboard, a representative for the singer (born Dominic Richard Harrison) confirmed that the musician broke his leg in a minor motorcycle accident last week at the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally in Sturgis, South Dakota.
During the annual event that brings together motorbike enthusiasts from around the world, Yungblud was riding around on a dirt bike in Sturgis before his gig at the rally August 9. That night he performed with a visible limp swigging from a bottle of Jack Daniel’s whiskey, confirming that he hurt his leg and was performing despite doctors’ orders not to take the stage.
Currently on touring in support of his 2025 album Idols, as well as his collaborative EP with Aerosmith, One More Time, Yungblud has festival appearances booked at the Vilar de Mouros Festival in northwestern Portugal and the Pukkelpop Festival in Hasselt, Belgium in the coming week.
