Flava Flav Kicked Out Of Backstreet Boys Dressing Room

During the annual Rockefeller Center Christmas tree lighting, Flavor Flav claims he was kicked out of Backstreet Boys‘ dressing room.

On Wednesday night (12.04,) at the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree lighting in Manhattan, the iconic hip-hop artist alleged that NBC had him removed from the boy band’s dressing room after the group hit the stage.

Taking to social media in a now-deleted post on X, the rapper (born William Jonathan Drayton Jr.) wrote:

“I feel weird … I was invited to the Rockefeller Tree Lighting tonite and I was escorted to see my boys … THE BACKSTREET BOYS … and we were backstage in their dressing room … security came up tp me and says @nbc does not want me in this area and I need to leave (sic).” “At the same time … their social media woman came up and asked me to capture social content. What did I ever do to NBC or anyone??” the artist continued. “All I ever do is try to spread joy and love … and I think I did that for NBC at the Olympics.”

The Public Enemy member subsequently shared a clip of him at the tree lighting event, with the caption, “Christmas in the city … ain’t nothing like the Rockefeller tree lighting.”

Performing a rendition of classic Nat King Cole hit ‘The Christmas Song (Merry Christmas to You), the Backstreet Boys joined host Kelly Clarkson at the tree lighting. Other musical guests included Jennifer Hudson, Raye and Little Big Town.
