In an enigmatic social media post, Jessica Simpson has teased a “personal” return to music.
Taking to social media earlier this week, the singer/fashion entrepreneur posted several fotos of herself posing in a chair donning a white dress, furry black coat, and black thigh-high boots inside a recording studio located in Nashville, Tennessee, writing:
“Interviews in my Nashville music room where I unearthed my singular magic” “This comeback is personal, it’s an apology to myself for putting up with everything I did not deserve.”
For some time now, Simpson has touted that new music is in the works but has yet to confirm a formal release date. Now 44-years of ago, Jessica’s last studio LP, Happy Christmas, dropped in 2010.
In response to her mysterious post, many fans questioned whether Jess’s marriage to former sportsman Eric Johnson is in turmoil with one fan writing “Is this j simp saying she’s single? (sic),” and another follower adding “Yep, called this a while ago. We love you. Stay strong.”
While representatives for Simpson have yet to address the speculation, on Monday night (11.11), the fashion entrepreneur’s younger sister Ashlee Simpson was asked about the rumors by a TMZ cameraman “Do you know anything about it? Is that true?” to which she simply replied: “No.”
Jessica and Eric wed in 2014 and are parents to daughters Maxwell, 12, and Birdie, 5, and son Ace, 11.
