Slated to stream on Netflix in 2027, Jessica Simpson has invited the cameras back into her life to film a new tell-all documentary.
Responsible for such docs as Robbie Williams, Lewis Capaldi: How I’m Feeling Now, and Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts, Simpson’s piece will be directed by BAFTA and Grammy nominee Joe Pearlman.
More than two decades since the singer turned fashionista was featured in Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica, that chronicled her marriage to 98 Degrees singer Nick Lachey, the episodic series ran for three seasons from 2003 through 2005.
Since the early 2000s, the now 46-year old has sold 20,000,000+ records worldwide, launched a successful celebrity licensing brand, and written a bestselling memoir titled Open Book.
After stepping out of the spotlight, in 2025 the Texas-native returned to recording and performing with a pair of Nashville Canyon EPs. She also guest starred on the Kim Kardashian and Glenn Close-fronted legal drama, All’s Fair.
Until their separation in early 2025, Jessica Simpson was married to former NFL player Eric Johnson since 2014, and the couple three children together: daughters Maxwell Drew and Birdie Mae, and son Ace Knute.
