50 Cent Responds To Assault Lawsuit

has brushed off a new assault lawsuit filed against him.

On Monday (1.27,) photographer, Guadalupe De Los Santos, filed a lawsuit against Curtis Jackson (aka 50 Cent) in Los Angeles Superior Court.

In the complaint, obtained by TMZ, the plaintiff claims that he was deliberately knocked off his electric scooter by a member of Jackson’s team when he pulled up beside their car following a book signing at The Grove shopping centre in September 2024.

According to De Los Santos, the car’s front passenger door swung open while they were waiting at a red light, when the car door allegedly smacked into his left side, knocking him onto the pavement and badly damaging the scooter.

The photographer is allegedly faces mounting medical bills due to his injuries and has lost out on earnings because he’s had to miss work and is now suing the rapper for damages, claiming he ordered someone in the car to hit him with the door.

Responding to the lawsuit, 50’s attorney told TMZ:

“Mr. Jackson has neither been served with or seen a filed copy of a lawsuit filed by Ms. Allred’s firm. However, if and when such a frivolous claim is filed and served, rest assured that Mr. Jackson’s legal team will swiftly move to dismiss the matter and seek the maximum costs, fees, sanctions and other remedies that are available under law.”

Adding that his client is not accused of driving the vehicle nor opening the door, Jackson personally brushed off the legal action on Instagram by posting an old image of him with the accuser’s lawyer Gloria Allred, adding “The moment I realized I don’t like lawyers, (laughing emoji) Gloria you should know better, chase a different ambulance.”

In a follow up social media post, Curtis shared a screen grab of his attorney’s statement and a photo in which he and Allred clutched hands at an event, writing “Gloria you’re not gonna get any money from me that way, but if you call me I’ll take you to dinner. LOL.”
