For the third year in a row, Lady Gaga will be taking the stage at the Grammys, but this time with legendary rock band Metallica. In a TV commercial that aired during the Super Bowl, the Grammys announced that the Joanne singer and metal legends Metallica would be performing a “duet”, which by Gaga’s standards, could be anything from a soft and heartfelt ballad to a hard-hitting rock performance.
Coming off of her performance at the Superbowl this past Sunday, Gaga should be right on track to deliver another amazing show at the Grammys, which will feature other artist collaborations throughout the night such as Alicia Keys with country singer Maren Morris, and the French dance music duo, Daft Punk, teaming up with The Weeknd.
I am very excited to see what kind of performance Mother Monster and Metallica will put on, and I know that whatever shape it takes, it will be amazing.
The Grammy Awards will be hosted by James Corden and take place on Feb. 12 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. It will be broadcast live at 8 p.m. EST on CBS.
