Over the weekend, Zendaya wowed the crowd during her unexpected appearance at Coachella.
On Saturday night (4.23) during the second weekend of the legendary Indio, California music festival, the actress joined Labrinth for a performance of ‘I’m Tired’ – the song they co-wrote for the season two soundtrack of the Euphoria TV series. And donning a pink corset top and skirt, Zendaya (born Zendaya Maree Stoermer Coleman) remained onstage, dancing to the track ‘All of Us.’
Following the show, the 26-year old thespian/singer took to her Instagram Stories account, writing:
“I cannot express my gratitude enough for this magical night.” “Thank you for my brother Labrinth for inviting me and giving me the most beautiful safe space to be on stage again. And to the crowd tonight… wow. My heart is so full. I can’t thank you enough for the love I received tonight, made all my nerves melt away. I’m so grateful.”
Since the 2013 release of her self-titled debut studio LP in 2013, the multi-hyphenate has rarely performed live since, yet, in May of last year she indicated that she was thinking about getting back into the music business.
“I stepped away from music quite a while ago, for a number of reasons, but I still really love it, so the kindness and support I’ve received the past few days just for a little tiny toe dip back into some music means the absolute world to me..thanks.”
