During J Balvin‘s Sunday (4.14) Coachella set, Will Smith made a surprise appearance to perform his classic 1997 song ‘Men in Black.’
Taking the California festival stage in costume as his Men in Black character Agent J, the controversial Oscar-winning thespian donned his classic black suit and sunglasses and the crowd went wild as Smith performed in front of a gigantic alien head alongside backup dancers dressed as Men in Black agents or aliens.
Dressed in a silver hoodie, Balvin danced beside Will during the first verse and chorus before joining the rapper/actor side-by-side in original choreography during the “just bounce with me” hook.
The Hispanic/Anglo talent set ended with J. being dragged off the stage by Men in Black agents as Will drew his neuralyzer (the memory-erasing device from the film) and pointed it towards the audience as the stage lights went a bright white.
