In a video posted to Swedish House Mafia‘s socials, Will Ferrell confirmed his appearance with the iconic EDM group in Chicago this fall.
Benefiting Cancer for College, the charity will take place on October 26 at the Wintrust Arena on Oct. 26. Offering college scholarships to cancer survivors, Ferrell has been a long time champion of the organization that his friend and three-time cancer survivor Craig Pollard, founded some 30 years ago.
Not the first time the Saturday Night Live alum has lent his support, in 2014, Will joined forces with Red Hot Chili Peppers look-a-like drummer Chad Smith, for a Cancer for College benefit where they performed the Rolling Stones’ “Honky Tonk Women” together. The comedian also raised money for the organization by auctioning baseball uniforms, organizing an all-star benefit, and playing cowbell with his son, Magnus, among other events.
In addition to their forthcoming Chicago show with Ferrell, the Scandinavian threesome have several tour dates booked all over the world throughout the summer – as Swedish House Mafia and individually .
