In advance of her upcoming bandmate’s nuptials, Victoria Beckham sent a message to Mel B.
Scheduled to take place on Saturday (7.05,) it was confirmed that Posh Spice wouldn’t be attending her fellow Spice Girl’s wedding because she will be out of the country.
Instead of her physical presence, the now 50-year old singer/fashion designer shared a photograph of her and Mel together via Instagram along with the caption “Sending love to you @officialmelb! @rorymcphee is a very lucky man! xx.”
A reliable source told the Daily Mail “Victoria has long-standing plans out of the country and she simply can’t be there.” “She adores Mel, they get on really well despite their paths going in opposite directions. It’s a real shame. There is no issue between them, they haven’t fallen out. It’s just one of those things.”
Not the only absentee, there have been rumors that other former bandmates, Emma Bunton and Melanie Chisholm, and Geri Halliwell-Horner may also be no-shows.
Previously married to Jimmy Gulzar between 1998 and 2000, then Stephen Belafonte between 2007 and 2017, the soon-to-be married Mel B is slated to wed her hairdresser Rory McPhee, 37, at St. Paul’s cathedral.
