Usher Married After Super Bowl Show

Days prior to his highly anticipated Super Bowl performance, Usher and his longtime girlfriend Jennifer Goicoechea reportedly obtained a marriage in Las Vegas.

According to court records obtained by People, on Thursday (2.08,) the superstar singer and music industry executive received a marriage license in Clark County, Nevada.

Though a marriage certificate has yet to be filed, the pre-game news sparked speculation that Usher and Jennifer might make it official to celebrate his Halftime Show performance at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on Sunday (2.11.)

Born Usher Raymond IV, the singer began dating Jennifer in 2019 and together they have a three-year-old daughter, Sovereign, and a two-year-old son, Sire. Usher also has two teenage sons with his ex-wife Tameka Foster.

Days prior to America’s most watched sporting even, the now-45 year old singer told People that he was open to getting married for the third time.

“Listen, when you find someone that you know is a great partner, of course, it is an honour and a pleasure to be able to share life with someone who wants to share it with you and loves you, who you are,” he said. “We’ve obviously made a commitment… for life together because of our children. It wouldn’t be odd for us to get married. “And we’re going to be in each other’s lives until we die, obviously, because we have something to share. That’s beautiful. Our children. But not because of that. I really do feel like I have an amazing partner that I respect.”

Prior to Jennifer Goicoechea, Usher was married to Tameka between 2007 and 2009 and to Grace Miguel between 2015 and 2018.
