According to Rolling Stone, the family of Tupac Shakur has retained the services of powerhouse attorney Alex Spiro to investigate any potential connection between Sean Combs and the murder of Shakur.
The recent bombshell news follows reports that the late Los Angeles rapper’s family have hired a team of investigators to ascertain if the Bad Boy Entertainment founder had any involvement in his death.
During the height of the East Coast-West Coast hip-hop feud, a 25-year-old Shakur was gunned down in a drive-by shooting in Las Vegas in September 1996. While his murder had gone unsolved for decades a recent break in the cold case came in September 2023 when Compton Crips gang member Duane Keith “Keffe D” Davis was arrested and charged with Tupac’s death.
Davis, who heads to trial in March of next year, has made claims that Combs offered a $1,000,000.00 hit on Shakur’s life.
Nearly one year after his ex-girlfriend Casandra “Cassie” Ventura filed a sexual abuse lawsuit against the Combs In September, Sean was arrested and charged with racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking and transportation to engage in prostitution.
A representative for Sean Combs did not immediately reply to a request for comment, but the currently imprisoned music mogul has vehemently denied any involvement with Tupac Shakur’s murder.
