As if one the brothers (who’s dating Taylor Swift,) is not getting enough attention, Jason Kelce and Travis Kelce have just recorded a Christmas song.
Titled ‘Fairytale of Philadelphia,’ the football playing siblings’ duet is featured on the Philadelphia Eagles’ upcoming holiday album, A Philly Special Christmas Special.
Along with the caption “Philly, are we going to let a Chief steal the show? No way,” “But we are going to enjoy the newly reimagined single, Fairytale of Philadelphia by Jason & Travis Kelce,” on Tuesday (11.14,) the LP’s official Instagram page posted a teaser clip of the song featuring the duo singing as claymation-style puppets.
Jason, now 36, plays NFL for the Philadelphia Eagles, while his brother, Travis, now 34, plays for rival team Kansas City Chiefs.
In a recent episode of the brothers’ New Heights podcast, Travis (who’s currently dating pop star Taylor Swift,) revealed he hadn’t yet listened to the final version of their collaboration, stating “Dude I do not want to hear myself sing like that. I’ve got more of the rock voice.”
In addition to the Kelce brothers composition, the full length also features Jason and his teammates Jordan Mailata and Lane Johnson’s rendition of Mariah Carey’s ‘All I Want for Christmas Is You,’ which was released earlier this month.
Fairytale of Philadelphia is set for a 15 November release.
