In honor of the Blink-182 drummer, Travis Barker has been given his own Madame Tussauds wax figure in Las Vegas.
Donned in garb donated by the drummer himself, the was figurine is clad in a black leather jacket and trousers, boots, a studded belt, silver jewelry, his wedding ring, nose ring, and of course the rocker’s trademark tattoos.
In a press release about the statue, Travis stated, “I’m honored, I’m flattered, I’m shocked. It looks so f**king real.”
Taking to social media, Barker shared a series of photos of himself posing next to the wax figure with the Instagram caption “Come say hi to my clone.”
In a video posted to Madame Tussaud’s official Instagram account, the legendary rocker is seen meeting his wax figure for the first time, saying “Woah! This is insane,” before telling his wife Kourtney Kardashian over the phone, “Honey, it looks so real. Isn’t it crazy, baby?”
Linsey Stiglic, the marketing manager for the wax museum company said “So many of our customers grew up rocking out to Blink-182, so we’re so excited to bring Travis Barker’s figure to Las Vegas for everyone to enjoy. And the attention to detail… have you seen these tattoos?” “We’re incredibly thankful to work with talented studio artists that consistently deliver figures of legends, like Barker, with such extraordinary precision.”
