Timberlake Apologizes For Beatbox Era

After content creator Hannah Young posted an Instagram reel in which she reminisced about the former *NSYNC member’s attempts at the art form, Justin Timberlake joked that he doesn’t “know how to apologize enough” for his beatboxing era.

“Nobody questioned it.” “Nobody said, ‘Justin, you know? We have drums. This is a professional recording studio. There are instruments available to you.’ And we liked it. That’s what I need us to sit with. We were watching that man make drum noises with his mouth, like, ‘Oh, my God, what can’t he do?’,” stated Young.

After the comedic clip rapidly racked up thousands of views, on Monday (10.05,)( Timberlake publicly responded with:

“I often look back on that time as well.” “I still haven’t come up with any answers. I don’t know how to apologize enough for whatever those ambitions were. Too many boots. Too many cats. I hope you can forgive me.” “Also, I can’t promise I won’t do it again. God help us all,”

Despite the 45-year old’s apology, many followers praised his ability, with one viewer stating “Love his beatboxing both LIVE and on studio recordings,” while another added “I’ve always loved his beatboxing!”

The superstar singer/songwriter beatboxed in the boy band’s song ‘Pop,’ from their 2001 album Celebrity, and his 2003 solo single ‘Rock Your Body.’
