After he and Jennifer teased a special “secret” they were keeping, during his appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show, Josh Groban confirmed that the superstar couple were going on tour together, adding:
“We might have the same secret, which I think we should tell people, which is that this summer, this extraordinary, extraordinary, one of the greatest vocalists who’s ever lived, one of the most amazing people on the planet…has graciously agreed to come out on the road with me.” “We’re gonna be touring!” And “honored” to hit the road with Hudson, the 44-year old singer also teased “duet possibilities” between the two.
“This can’t be my life, but I am so excited. It is such an honor” “One of the greatest vocalists in the world,” added Hudson.
In a formal statement, Josh Groban said “Performing live has always been one of the greatest joys of my life, and getting to share these nights with Jennifer, someone I admire so deeply, makes it all the more special.” “These shows are going to be emotional, celebratory, and full of surprises. I can’t wait to see everyone this summer.”
Launching in Montreal come June, the Groban/Hudson tour is billed as “two legendary voices, one unforgettable evening.”
