Bringing the glamour of Studio 54 and the excitement of sweaty nightclub dance floors to audiences throughout North America, the First Ladies of Disco Retro Music Box Tour will hit the road this summer for an evening of live music led by some of the biggest hitmakers of the musical era.
Billed as an evening chock full of soul, pop, R&B and dance chart hits from the 1970s, 1980s, and 1990s, the First Ladies of Disco Retro Music Box Tour features Norma J. Wright (“Le Freak,” “Saturday”), Linda Clifford (“Runaway Love,” “Red Light”) and Martha Wash (“Gonna Make You Sweat,” “It’s Raining Men”).
Combining medleys, group numbers and solo performances backed by a live band, each stop on the tour will showcase a finale number featuring a variety of rotating special guests from the disco and club culture eras.
