According to the New York Times, Taylor Swift‘s Eras Tour has grossed a record-breaking $2,000,000,000 in ticket sales revenue.
After performing 149 shows in 21 countries throughout the world, Swift has accumulated $2,077,618,725 from die-hard fans who paid to see the superstar singer/songwriter perform live.
The legendary New York publication reports that the income, provided by Swift’s production company Taylor Swift Touring, does not include earnings from secondary ticket sales or merchandise.
Having launched her Eras Tour in Arizona on March 17 of last year, the multi-Grammy award winner performed her final show in Vancouver, Canada, on Sunday, December 8. And prior to the now 34-year-old star singing ‘Lover,’ the last song in the show’s first era, Swift told her audience:
“We have toured the entire world with this tour. We have had so many adventures. It has been the most exciting, powerful, electrifying, intense, most challenging thing I’ve ever done in my entire life.” “We’ve gotten to perform for over 10 million people on this tour. And tonight, we get to play one last show for you here tonight in beautiful Vancouver.”
Reliable sources reported that 10,168,008 people attended the Eras Tour with an average ticket price of $204.00
In December of 2023, halfway through her scheduled dates, Taylor Swift had already made history with the first tour to break the $1,000,000,000 mark.
