During a recent National Football League (NFL) game, Tom Cruise joked that Taylor Swift “schooled” him on the rules of American football.
To watch the Kansas City Chiefs play the Denver Broncos, on Monday (9.14,) the superstar thespian was seated next to to the superstar singer a box at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri, and during Thursday’s (9.17) appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, the host asked what it was like to sit next to Taylor.
“(Taylor) was schooling me on football. For real. She was bringing the football,” “I hadn’t been to a football game since pre-Covid. So, to get to hang out there and to have that moment, (it) was a lot of fun, and adding that it was great to see the singer and her husband, Kansas City Chiefs player Travis Kelce, he said “They’re a beautiful couple and magical in their own right.”
The now 64-year old actor revealed that Taylor told him Travis was “very patient” with her when they first started dating and she was learning about the NFL, teasing “I’m sure he was,” “I think anybody would be very patient… She’s funny, she’s got such a great sense of humor, (is) a brilliant writer, brilliant musician, director, very skilled.”
