On the tour since March, Swift’s physical tour concludes in November of 2024 and the superstar singer/songwriter just announced that, effective October 13, fans can revisit the show in thousands of cinemas throughout North America.
Taking to social media, the now 33-year old entertainer posted a trailer to the film on Instagram, writing “The Eras Tour has been the most meaningful, electric experience of my life so far and I’m overjoyed to tell you that it’ll be coming to the big screen soon.” “Starting Oct 13th you’ll be able to experience the concert film in theaters in North America!” “Tickets are on sale now. Eras attire, friendship bracelets, singing and dancing encouraged.”
In celebration of the hitmaker’s forthcoming 1989 (Taylor’s Version) LP, the AMC Theatre chain will price adult tickets at $19.89
Titled Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour, the concert film, will allow fans who couldn’t purchase tickets to her concerts, experience the live show. When tickets for her tour first went on sale in November 2022, a significant percentage of fans lost out on a chance to see the entertainer due to severe Ticketmaster issues.
Addressing the debacle, at the time Taylor stated that her team had asked the ticket distribution company if “they could handle this type of demand”, to which Ticketmaster said they could. “It’s truly amazing that 2.4 million people got tickets, but it really p**ses me off that a lot of them feel like they went through several bear attacks to get them.”
