Due to treatment for his peptic ulcer condition throughout the the last few weeks, Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band have confirmed that all remaining 2023 tour dates will be postponed until 2024. “Thanks to all my friends and fans for your good wishes, encouragement, and support. I’m on the mend and can’t wait to see you all next year,” wrote The Boss.
On Wednesday (9.27,) the iconic rocker took to Instagram announcing that all remaining gigs will be pushed back to next year per his doctors advice and his continuing treatment for the disease that started early-September. Prior to their current postponements the rockers had previously moved September dates of the tour due to his diagnosis.
Springsteen and The E Street Band have had a rocky 2023 as Covid swept through the band soon after the tour kicked off, leaving many a missed date, and more members were struck with “illness” in March leading to postponed shows.
According to the press release, all cancelled date tickets will be honored for the soon-to-be-announced dates, though refunds to those who are unable to attend the re-scheduled shows will have 30 days to request their money back.
