Spotify Unveils It’s Biggest Summer Hits Predictions

As is customary for the streaming music giant, Spotify just published its predictions for the biggest 2021 chart Songs of the Summer.

Including a worldwide list of compositions spanning a variety of genres from hip-hop to country, Spotify writes, “Our Songs of Summer predictions are based on a number of factors like streaming numbers, current trajectory, and future forecasting from Spotify’s global curation team.”

Tracks like Olivia Rodrigo‘s “good 4 u,” currently the top-streaming song on Spotify, Ed Sheeran‘s latest solo single “Bad Habits,” Tyler, The Creator featuring YoungBoy Never Broke Again & Ty Dolla $ign’s “WUSYANAME,” Doja Cat‘s “Kiss Me More,” and others are included on the entire list (below).

In addition to their traditional top picks, Spotify is launching a brand-new Summer Breakouts playlist, which will be feature a regularly updated list of songs that Spotify’s editorial experts believe will go viral, including current releases by BIA, Tai Verdes, Dayglow, Audrey Nuna, and more.

Spotify’s predictions for top charting 2021 Songs of the summer include:
