Spice Girls Celebrate 25th Anniversary With Previously Unreleased Single: Watch + Listen

In commemoration of the 25th anniversary of their debut single, “Wannabe,” the Spice Girls introduce the previously unreleased “Feed Your Love.”

A typical of their quintessential uptempo repertoire, “Feed Your Love” is a slow, sensual ’90s throwback jam, reminiscent of the Boogie Down Productions “South Bronx” sample.

The female quintet’s latest production reminds the listen of tracks like “Feed Your Love” that draws directly from classic soul, funk and R&B than the Girls’ smash hits like “Something Kinda Funny,” and the Motown send-up “Stop,” from their albums Spice and Spiceworld and more similar to R&B-leaning, B-sides tracks like “Baby Come Round” and the reggae-influenced “Walk of Life,” (that led to collaborations with legendary producers including Rodney and Freddie Jerkins, Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis for the group’s final album, Forever.)
