Addressing the ongoing controversy within the Beckham family, Snoop Dogg has spoken out in defense of David Beckham, after the soccer player’s son Brooklyn shared an explosive online statement confirming that he has no plans to reconcile with his family.
Following months of feud rumors, Brooklyn took to Instagram alleged that his father and his mother, Victoria Beckham, repeatedly attempted to “ruin” his relationship with his wife, Nicola Peltz, and claimed that they “controlled narratives in the press” about their family for his “entire life”.
Having DJ’d at Brooklyn and Nicola’s 2022 nuptials, Snoop made it clear that he’s firmly on David’s side, describing the football icon as a devoted family man, and In a statement to UK’s Mirror, the superstar rapper said:
“David is my boy, we have been friends for over 20 years now.” “We have seen each other’s kids grow up, and one thing about David is that he is a family man.” “It doesn’t matter what level of success he has had in his life, there ain’t nothing more important to him than his family.” “No family is perfect, right, but when you are a family in the public eye, it’s hard – it’s even more of a pressure,” he told the outlet. “I know the love that family has for each other – and in time, they are gonna work things out.”
At press time, David and Victoria, who also share sons Cruz and Romeo and daughter Harper, have not yet commented publicly.
