Sheila E To Perform At 2023 CARE Impact Awards

Scheduled for Wednesday, (11.08,) at the Ziegfeld Ballroom in New York City, percussionist and four-time Grammy nominee, Sheila E. will perform at the sixth annual CARE Impact Awards.

The yearly event which helps raise awareness and funds for CARE’s humanitarian and development work around the world, will be hosted this year by married couple and broadcast journalists Al Roker and Deborah Roberts.

In a statement about the the gala, president and CEO of CARE USA, Michelle Nunn, said “Even through all the changes and crises we face as a global community, our team remains steadfast in our mission to ensure people around the world live with dignity, security, and prosperity,” “The Impact Awards is an evening to celebrate the hope we see in our work everyday, and will continue to see as we help families seek a better life for themselves and their communities.”

Founded in 1945 with the creation of the CARE Package, CARE is a leading humanitarian organization fighting global poverty with a special focus on working alongside women and girls.
