Concurrent with the embattled music mogul’s 50-month federal prison sentence for prostitution transportation, Sean Diddy Combs has sold his Star Island estate for $55,000,000.00
Located at 1 Star Island Drive and purchased by Combs in 2021 for $35,000,000.00, the Miami-based property was purchased in an off-market transaction.
Including six bedrooms, eight bathrooms and a guesthouse on more than an acre of waterfront property, the exclusive Miami Beach enclave mansion was previously owned by Gloria and Emilio Estefan.
Having gone through an extensive renovation following Combs’ purchase, according to The Real Deal, the estate also features a swimming pool, private dock, basketball court, spa and views of the Miami skyline.
One of two properties the convicted felon owns on Star Island, the other, located at 2 Star Island, was raided by Homeland Security as part of the federal investigation against Combs.
Ahead of his September 2024 arrest, the 56-year old paid off some $19,000,000.00 of the property’s mortgage so as to ensure that the mansion could be pledged as collateral in a proposed bail package. Despite that effort, a federal judge denied Combs’ request for bail.
