On Sunday (8.03,) during her set at Lollapalooza Chicago, Sabrina Carpenter brought out Earth, Wind and Fire.
Performing their Grammy-nominated ‘Let’s Groove’ and ‘September,’ Carpenter was joined by the iconic funk and soul legends at Grant Park that played a cross-generational fusion of pop and soul set.
Not the first super-group she’s collaborated with on stage, the 26-year old pop star was recently joined by Duran Duran at BST Hyde Park in London to perform their ’80s classic ‘Hungry Like The Wolf.’
Halfway through the 17-song concert, featuring countless country hits including ‘Manchild’ and pop sing-a-longs ‘Nonsense’ and ‘Feather’ – ’80s icons Duran Duran appeared for a surprise duet of their timeless classic.
Introducing frontman Simon Le Bon and guitarist John Taylor, Sabrina said: “I also thought it might be fun if I brought out some friends of mine from the UK. I’m going to need you guys to put that howling to good use. But everybody please give it up and make so much noise for the legendary Duran Duran.”
