Rod Stewart Receives AMA Lifetime Achievement Award

The American Music Awards has confirmed that Rod Stewart will receive the 2025 Lifetime Achievement trophy.

According to a statement from Dick Clark Productions executive producers Barry Adelman, EVP, Television, and Alexi Mazareas, SVP, Programming and Development:

“Sir Rod Stewart is a master showman whose charisma and energy have defied time and embody the very spirit of rock and roll.” “We are looking forward to another epic performance on the AMAs stage as well as celebrating his incredible body of work when he receives the Lifetime Achievement Award.”

In addition to Stewart, who will mark his first AMAs performance since 2004, Janet Jackson will honored with the Icon Award in recognition of her “undeniable cultural and global influence,” and will take the stage for her first TV performance in seven years.

Hosted by Jennifer Lopez, the 2025 AMAs take place at the Fontainebleau Hotel in Las Vegas on May 26.
