Prince Scores His 20th Top10 Album With ‘Coming 2 America’

In Billboard‘s 65-year old music chart history, Prince is now only one of twelve artists with at least twenty Top 10 albums!

The legendary soul/pop artist’s new archival studio album Welcome 2 America debuts at #4 on the Billboard 200 chart. Recorded in 2010 but not released until July 30, 2021, the full length marks his first newly-released LP to reach the Billboard 200’s Top 10 since his premature passing on April 21, 2016, at age 57.

From March 24, 1956, when the Billboard chart was first published on a regular basis through August 14, 2021, the following is the list of all artists with at least twenty Top 10 albums on the Billboard 200:
