Post Malone Sued For Million$

After appearing in the the superstar’s music video, a limousine driver is suing Post Malone over claims he was not paid for his appearance.

The subject of plaintiff Larry Deuel’s lawsuit against the rapper is the 2020 Tommy Lee video shoot with collaborator Tyla Yaweh.

According to legal documents, the accuser has requested a trial by jury per his claim that he never received any monetary compensation for his appearance in the video, and is suing for principal damages “in an amount not less than $2,500,000.00”; punitive damages “in an amount not less than $7,500,000.00 “; legal fees “in an amount not less than $25,000”; and more.

In addition to working as a limousine driver at the time of the shoot, Deuel was a high school teacher. He was allegedly hired to drive Malone and Yaweh to the rapper’s ranch for the shoot and, once there, was asked by the two musicians to be in the video where he appears numerous times standing beside the limo as Yaweh sings and dances.

According to the filed documents “Absent Mr Deuel’s presence in Tommy Lee, the theme of wealth, power, fame, privilege, and success would have been visually underwhelming, supported only by two unkempt musicians smoking blunts and riding ATVs in a dirt field.”
