Embroiled in a custody battle over their two-year-old daughter, on Wednesday (4.16,) Post Malone revealed the identity of his ex who’s filed for primary physical custody in Los Angeles Superior Court.
According to the documents, the mother of the singer’s daughter is Hee Sung ‘Jamie’ Park who also filed for joint custody and is willing to give him visitation rights. On Monday (4.14,) however, the 29-year-old singer/songwriter (born name Austin Post,) had filed his own custody documents in Utah two days before Park’s motion in LA. His petition is under seal so it has yet to be revealed what custody set-up he is asking for.
Because the artist filed first, the case will be handled in Utah, reportedly a win for Malone as Utah child support payments are typically lower than those in California.
Sources close to the situation told TMZ that Post filed in Utah because that’s where the former couple were initially splitting 50/50 custody of the daughter, yet after they off their engagement in late 2024, Hee reportedly moved to California at the start of 2025.
Born on May 26 2022, the child’s name has yet to be publicized, and as such is referred to as “DDP” in Park’s legal action.
During his June 2022 interview on The Howard Stern Show, Post announced his engagement and the arrival of his daughter. And since his split from Park, the Grammy award winner has moved on with university student Christy Lee.
