Post Malone Cancels Shows

Due to unfinished music, Post Malone has cancelled the first three weeks of his forthcoming The Big Ass Stadium Tour Part 2 that was scheduled to start on May 13.

Revealing that he wants to finish The Eternal Buzz, his new LP with 40 tracks, before going on tour, the 30-year old singer/songwriter (born Austin Richard Post,) took to social media with:

“I came to the realization that what we’re trying to do, and what’s possible, isn’t really lining up.” “The truth is, I promised y’all beautiful people new music, and I don’t have the time to finish it before tour starts. We ain’t ready for tour just yet, so I’m making the decision to push the tour back about 3 weeks to get this music done.”

Promising his fans that the wait’ll be worth it, the Syracuse, New York-born musician added “We’ve been making some badass s**t for this double album,” he said of his seventh studio album, “and I can’t wait to perform for y’all again.”

In a previous interview with Variety, the singer revealed he’d recorded “probably 35 songs” for the project but had only done scratch vocals.

The Post Malone tour, which is due to include some appearances by Jelly Roll, will now start on June 9.
