P!nk Concert Raises $8K For Cancer

Raising a massive $8,250,000.00 in a single night, this year’s Curebound’s annual Concert for Cures recognized a massive milestone.

Headlined by global music icon P!NK, the 2026 benefit concert at San Diego’s Petco Park drew 25,000 fans, and brought the total raised across the four-year history of the event series to $28,000,000.00+, the funds from which directly support vital adult and pediatric cancer research.

Among this year’s attendees were thousands of cancer survivors, including 1,500 individuals who were invited to attend the special evening by the Manchester Family Foundation.

Delivering her signature, exhilarating, high-flying performance that kept the stadium crowd on its feet, the international superstar singer (born Alecia Beth Moore) famous for her fearless live shows and powerhouse vocals, performed her biggest hits alongside emotional, stripped-down moments, during which she praised the organization’s efforts from the stage, expressing her deep gratitude for being able to support such an important cause.

The latest in an illustrious roster of past A-listers, P!nk joins prior headliners Elton John, Ed Sheeran, and Alicia Keys, for the event that has grown exponentially since its 2022 inception. Emerging as a marquee night where entertainment, science, and community intersect to accelerate the fight against cancer, to date, the Concert for Cures has brought together 60,000+ people.

Emphasizing the urgency of the mission during the event, Curebound CEO Robin Toft stated that the community’s support matters more than ever at a time when national research funding remains uncertain, with Board Chair Rick Valencia adding that the organization ultimately measures its success by the breakthroughs that give families more options, more time, and more hope.

Through the collective efforts from sponsors, such as luxury watch and jewelry maker Chopard, the memorable night successfully generated crucial funding to define how the next generation prevents, detects, and treats cancer.
