Paramount+ Plus Confirms Ozzy Osbourne Doc: Look + Listen

OZZY: NO ESCAPE FROM NOW, the full length feature documentary chronicling Ozzy Osbourne‘s final six years of life, is slated for an October 7 drop date courtesy of Paramount+.

Produced in association with the Osbourne family, the piece provides a deep dive inside the legendary singer’s private health struggles and his relentless fight to get back on stage one last time.

Detailing the devastating late-night fall Ozzy suffered in February of 2019, which led to a series of corrective surgeries and the cancellation of his farewell tour, the movies features candid conversations with the legendary rocker, his wife Sharon, and their children Aimee, Kelly, and Jack, who speak candidly about the life-changing impact of his chronic pain and Parkinson’s diagnosis on his mental and physical health.

Notwithstanding his struggles, the documentary addresses how this collaboration with Post Malone on “Take What You Want” reignited the musicians passion for music, and as Ozzy himself admitted, “It got me out of the blues. It helped me. That was the best medicine I ever had.” In fact, it was this newly found enthusiasm that led to his acclaimed albums Ordinary Man and the Grammy-winning Patient Number 9, both of which are explored in the film.

Though OZZY: NO ESCAPE FROM NOW was not intended to be a posthumous film, following the musicians sudden passing on July 22, 2025, it now stands as a powerful testament to his courage, resilience, and talent and also features tributes such friends and collaborators as Tony Iommi, Slash, and James Hetfield, who provide heartfelt perspectives on the man himself.
