Playing their first full show together in nine years, on Saturday (4.13) No Doubt was joined on the Coachella stage by Olivia Rodrigo.
Not since 2015 had Gwen Stefani and her bandmates Tony Kanal, guitarist Tom Dumont, and drummer Adrian Young performed at length, as rockers’ front woman told the audience “It’s been nine f**king years!” “I was thinking we should dust off some of the old s**t,” before launching into ‘Don’t Speak,’ ‘Just A Girl, Hella Good,’ ‘Underneath It All,’ and ‘It’s My Life.’
Rodrigo joined Stefani for ‘Bathwater,’ the song Olivia chose in 2021 as one her eighteen favorite songs to celebrate her 18th birthday.
Wearing a cropped white tank top that read “I (heart) ND,” Olivia sang with Gwen, who at the end of the song, summoned Rodrigo over by saying, “Come here, my little Vampire!”
