Scheduled for a September 8 release courtesy of Geffen Records, Olivia Rodrigo has announced that Guts is the name of her forthcoming album.
Taking to her Instagram account on Monday (6.26,) the now 20-year-old singer-songwriter shared the highly anticipated news with “my sophomore album GUTS comes out september 8th. i am so proud of this record and I can’t wait to share it with you all!”
Created in tandem with acclaimed musician/producer Daniel Nigro, who also worked on her debut 2021 album, Sour, Rodrigo added:
“So excited about this new album and this new chapter. i cant thank you guys enough for all of your support and enthusiasm,” she wrote in her story. Making this album was very fun, and very fulfilling. i cant wait for it to be yours. here’s to all the good times ahead.”
The first single from the Grammy Award winner since her 2021 multi-platinum album, Sour, the new LP’s lead single, ‘Vampire’ will come out this Friday (6.30.)
