Nicole Scherzinger admitted that she once caught Prince hiding in the bushes before a concert.
As she and her gal pals were preparing to watch the super singer in concert, this year’s Tony award winner spotted the pop legend lurking in Las Vegas vegetation.
Describing the iconic singer/songwriter (born Prince Rogers Nelson), who died of an overdose in 2016, as “my mentor, my friend and my brother,” the now 47-year old songstress/actress stated that she and her friends were excited to watch the singer on stage that evening.
Scherzinger told Hot Ones host Sean Evans” “So, he’s got a show in Vegas, and I’m bringing my girlfriends, okay? And we’re super excited to see the show and to see him perform and support him.” “Me and my girlfriends are like, ‘This is awesome, the sun is shining, we get to see Prince tonight in concert, it’s gonna be magical.’ And me and my friends are talking, and then we hear a ‘Psst. Psst!'”
In a bizarre twist, the musician had concealed himself behind some greenery.
“We see this bush kind of moving.” “And we hear, ‘Psst, psst!’ And I’ll be damned, Prince was hiding behind the bush trying to get my attention. I don’t know why!,” recalled Nicole, adding that the incident took place in broad daylight.
“It was, like, noon,” Nicole explained, noting that Prince had been “fully dressed” and “looked amazing.” “Just Prince-ing it up,” she quipped. “Heels and all.”
